A man buys 400,000 euros worth of luxury cars by defrauding Vosges dealers – Epinal Info

A 23-year-old young man was taken into custody on Monday at the Epinal police station. He is accused of having defrauded Vosges dealers. He managed to buy 400,000 euros worth of luxury cars from these dealerships using false transfer orders.

Between June 26, 2023 and January 17, 2024, the young man defrauded seven dealers in Épinal, Golbey and Xertigny, as well as an individual located in Jarménil.

The young man managed to acquire luxury cars worth 400,000 euros using false transfer orders.

Every time, he acted the same way. Very persuasive, the young man went to dealerships and fell for a luxury car. He then signed the purchase order and wrote a false transfer order which he gave to the dealers. The sellers therefore never received the money from the bank transfers.

Heard by police officers from the Epinal police station, the young man admitted the facts. He explained to police that he always wanted to have nice cars and that this was the easiest way he found to own them.

He will have to answer for his actions in appearance on prior admission of guilt (CRPC) on July 3.
